The starting point
Chef Hector Mendoza started Mendoza's Catering three years ago as a small family business. He cooks for weddings, quinceañeras, corporate events and community gatherings.
The food covers four kitchens: Mexican antojitos, BBQ, Italian pastas and American plates. That's hard to get across in an Instagram bio. He needed one place to show the full menu, tell his story and make booking easy.
What we built
A site that leads with the food. The first screen puts a grid of Hector's own dishes beside a headline that says exactly what he does, catering for weddings, quinceañeras and every celebration in between, with the call button right under it.
Warm chile red, cream and charcoal replace a generic black-and-yellow template. The menu works the way clients plan: pick a style (plated, the grill or antojitos), then mains and sides, and Hector quotes for the guest count.
The details
- Hero built from Hector's real dishes, with tap-to-call in the header and the first screen
- Menu as three styles, each with its mains and sides
- A booking request that asks for the date, guest count and event type
- Event types up front: weddings and quinceañeras, corporate, private parties, community gatherings
- Meet the Chef section in Hector's own words
- Search basics: page titles, caterer structured data, sitemap and compressed images
