Before After

The starting point

Poseidon Aerospace builds unmanned cargo aircraft. While they were in stealth, the website was a single screen: the company name over an animated wireframe ocean and a "Get in touch" link.

That stopped working once they raised their Series A and started talking publicly. The same site now had to work for commercial operators, defense buyers, reporters covering the raise and engineers deciding whether to apply.

What we built

A site that leads with the hardware. Hangar footage of the aircraft fills the first screen under two words: Move mass. No abstract graphics. If you build aircraft, show the aircraft.

The navigation splits the audiences from the first click: Aircraft, Commercial, Defense and Careers. Press coverage and a press kit sit on the homepage, so a reporter or investor can check the company out in one scroll.

The details

  • Full-bleed video of the real aircraft in the hangar
  • Separate paths for commercial, defense and careers
  • Pages for each aircraft program
  • Press section with coverage of the raise and a downloadable press kit
  • Short, confident copy that doesn't need an aerospace degree to read
